Today concludes the wait for marks to the Mid-Year exams. Officially I have gotten all 7 subject results back, and estimating only by the effort I have made for this mid-year, I have done quite horribly.
Reflecting on how I have performed for this mid-year, I really risk having to see myself score just as badly for the upcoming O levels. I'm totally motivated to start studying and I am hell-bent on getting a B3 for my 1st O level paper;Malay. I'm gonna need that peribahasa list now. I'm gonna get the malay practice prelim paper done by tonight and I'm gonna start searching for my past 4years maths textbooks.
By Prelims this September, I am going to have had studied enough to score my self 4 A1s and 3 B3s, in comparison to my current result(from best to worst);
English-68
POA-62
Malay-52.5(Wooray!)
DNT-49
Humanities-49
Science(Chem&Phy)-45.5
Maths-42.5
The most dissapointing results are of course those of Science & Maths. Done horribly. Preparations insufficient, and determination low. The only grace to this pain of mass failure was the fact that i managed to pass the Malay paper. First time and what better timing. I am hoping to improve this subject to a B3 by the time of the O level paper. And do take note the papers have not included my CA marks which I have done relatively well on, this means those borderlines may be upgraded to a pass.
